1. Who We Are
WorthTrack is provided by Bkk Builder. WorthTrack helps users track net worth, assets, liabilities, budgets, goals, bank balances, bank statements, market prices, calculators, backups, widgets, and optional AI-powered reports.
This policy applies to the WorthTrack mobile app and the WorthTrack pages on the Bkk Builder website.
2. Information You Enter or Store in WorthTrack
WorthTrack is a personal finance app, so the information you choose to enter may include personal and sensitive financial information. Depending on how you use the app, this may include:
- Asset and liability records, including account names, asset names, categories, quantities, purchase prices, current values, ticker symbols, exchange codes, quote currencies, and update timestamps.
- Net worth snapshots, bank balance snapshots, budget items, income and expense entries, cash-flow forecasts, and financial goals.
- Bank statement files that you choose to import, such as PDF or CSV files, plus extracted or saved transaction details including dates, descriptions, amounts, currencies, account names, and month keys.
- App preferences such as currency, language, theme, AI settings, report frequency, news watchlist, notification preferences, app lock settings, and backup settings.
- Security-related local data, such as a PIN hash and biometric unlock preference. WorthTrack does not store your actual biometric data.
3. How WorthTrack Uses Information
WorthTrack uses information for app functionality, including to:
- Calculate and display net worth, assets, liabilities, performance, allocation, and trends.
- Track monthly budgets, income, expenses, cash flow, and goals.
- Show bank balance reminders, statement history, widgets, and notifications.
- Refresh supported market prices, currency conversions, and relevant market/news context.
- Generate optional AI reports and optional AI-assisted bank statement import when you configure an AI provider.
- Create encrypted backup files and restore data from backups when you choose to do so.
- Protect app access through PIN and biometric unlock settings.
4. Local Storage and Backups
WorthTrack stores app data locally on your device using the app database and app preferences. If you export a backup, WorthTrack creates an encrypted backup file protected by the passphrase you provide. You are responsible for keeping that passphrase safe.
If you share, upload, email, or save a backup file to another service such as cloud storage or email, that service may handle the file according to its own privacy policy.
5. Network Services and Third Parties
WorthTrack uses internet access for features that need external data. Depending on the feature you use, requests may be sent to third-party services, including market price, currency conversion, news, and AI provider services.
- Market price and currency services may receive asset identifiers, ticker symbols, exchange codes, metal symbols, crypto identifiers, currency codes, or similar query data needed to return prices or exchange rates.
- News or market-context features may send watchlist terms, such as asset names or symbols, to retrieve relevant headlines.
- If you enable AI reports or AI statement import, WorthTrack may send relevant financial data, budget data, goal data, statement text or transaction data, watchlist terms, and report prompts to the AI provider you select in Settings.
Third-party services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Do not enable an AI provider or import statements through AI unless you are comfortable with the information being sent to that provider.
6. AI Features
AI features are optional and are controlled by your settings. WorthTrack may support providers such as OpenAI, Google/Gemini, Anthropic/Claude, xAI/Grok, Microsoft/Copilot, Meta AI, Perplexity, Mistral, DeepSeek, or other providers shown in the app.
When AI features are enabled, your selected provider and API token are used to request AI output. AI reports may use your portfolio, budget, net worth snapshots, goals, watchlist, market headlines, and related financial context. AI statement import may use the statement file or statement contents you choose to import.
AI output is informational only and is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
7. Permissions
WorthTrack may request or use the following Android permissions and platform capabilities:
- Internet and network state: to refresh market prices, currency conversion, headlines, and AI features.
- Notifications and alarms: to provide reminders such as bank update or performance notifications.
- Receive boot completed: to reschedule reminders or widget updates after the device restarts.
- File picker and file provider access: to import statement files you select and to export/share backup files you create.
- Biometric authentication: to unlock the app if you enable biometric unlock. Biometric data is handled by the Android system and is not collected by WorthTrack.
8. Sharing and Sale of Data
WorthTrack does not sell your personal data. WorthTrack does not include advertising features in the website or app pages described here.
WorthTrack shares information only when needed for features you use, such as external price lookups, news lookups, AI provider requests, backup sharing that you initiate, or other actions you choose through your device.
9. Data Security
WorthTrack uses device-level app storage and app security controls such as PIN lock and biometric unlock settings. Exported backups are encrypted with a passphrase chosen by you.
No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. You should protect your device, avoid sharing backup passphrases, and only configure AI providers or cloud services that you trust.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
WorthTrack retains local app data for as long as it remains stored in the app on your device. You can delete data by deleting entries in the app where available, importing a replacement backup, clearing app storage, or uninstalling the app. Backup files remain wherever you saved or shared them until you delete them from that location.
WorthTrack does not currently require users to create an account with Bkk Builder. If account features are added in the future, this policy will be updated with account deletion instructions.
11. Children’s Privacy
WorthTrack is not directed to children. Users should not use WorthTrack to knowingly submit personal information about children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as WorthTrack changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
