1. Who We Are

RainTrack is provided by Bkk Builder. RainTrack combines weather information with a private vault for photos, videos, notes, and files.

This policy applies to the RainTrack mobile app and the RainTrack pages on the Bkk Builder website.

2. Information RainTrack Handles

Depending on how you use RainTrack, the app may access or store the following information:

  • Weather location data, such as your approximate or precise device location if you grant location permission.
  • City search terms that you enter when searching for weather by city.
  • Weather results shown in the app, including city, country, temperature, condition, humidity, wind, UV index, high and low temperature, and forecast information.
  • Vault content that you choose to add, such as photos, videos, notes, files, file names, file types, folder names, timestamps, and file sizes.
  • Security settings, including PIN hash, fake/decoy PIN hash, biometric unlock preference, screenshot protection preference, shake-to-lock preference, and intruder selfie preference.
  • Intruder photos if you enable the intruder selfie feature and the app captures a front-camera image after repeated wrong PIN attempts.
  • Purchase status information handled through Google Play Billing if you use upgrade or restore purchase features.

3. How RainTrack Uses Information

RainTrack uses information for app functionality, including to:

  • Show current weather, forecast, humidity, wind, UV index, and hi/lo temperatures for your location or searched city.
  • Store and display private vault items that you choose to import or create.
  • Protect vault access with PIN, optional biometric unlock, fake vault, screenshot protection, and shake-to-lock settings.
  • Capture and show intruder photos when the intruder selfie option is enabled.
  • Support optional upgrade and restore purchase flows through Google Play Billing.

4. Local Storage and Security

RainTrack stores vault files, notes, settings, PIN hashes, biometric unlock data, and intruder photos locally on your device in app storage. Vault content is encrypted in app storage using keys derived from your PIN. Intruder photos are stored in the app's private internal storage for review and deletion from within the app.

Biometric authentication is handled by Android. RainTrack does not collect or store your fingerprint, face, or other biometric template.

No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. You should protect your device, choose a strong PIN, and only store content you are comfortable keeping on that device.

5. Network Services and Third Parties

RainTrack uses internet access for weather and purchase-related features.

  • Weather data is requested from OpenWeatherMap. If you use current-location weather, coordinates may be sent to OpenWeatherMap to return weather data. If you search by city, the city search query is sent to OpenWeatherMap.
  • Google Play Billing may process purchase and restore-purchase information if you use paid upgrade features. Payment information is handled by Google Play, not directly by RainTrack.

Third-party services process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Permissions

RainTrack may request or use the following Android permissions and platform capabilities:

  • Internet: to retrieve weather data and support purchase-related services.
  • Precise and approximate location: to show weather for your current location when you allow it.
  • Camera: to capture an intruder selfie after repeated wrong PIN attempts when that feature is enabled.
  • Photos and videos/media access: to import media that you choose to add to the vault.
  • Biometric authentication: to unlock the vault if you enable biometric unlock.
  • Vibration: to support device feedback in security or interaction flows.

7. Sharing and Sale of Data

RainTrack does not sell your personal data. RainTrack does not include advertising features in the app or website pages described here.

RainTrack shares data only when needed for features you use, such as sending location or city search information to OpenWeatherMap for weather results, using Google Play Billing for purchases, or using Android sharing/file features that you initiate.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

RainTrack retains local app data for as long as it remains stored in the app on your device. You can delete vault items, notes, files, intruder photos, and settings where the app provides deletion controls. You can also clear app storage or uninstall the app to remove local RainTrack data from the device.

RainTrack does not currently require users to create an account with Bkk Builder. If account features are added in the future, this policy will be updated with account deletion instructions.

9. Children

RainTrack is not directed to children. Users should not use RainTrack to knowingly submit personal information about children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as RainTrack changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
